- Sentimental or “functional
- Ink screen
- Ideally wireless
- Small housing

Process
and challenges:
One of my biggest issues is power supply in something this small.
The first thing is the power supply. The Ink screen I initially wanted to use it for this project has an SD card holder built in. Despite the low energy setting, the power supply still needs to be 3.3v/5v. I wanted to use a button battery for the screen. But I don't think it's doable, at least to sustain the screen for a while. All the stand-alone project I came across online has been with LCD screen. David gave me the suggestion of trying to use shrink wrap to stack button batteries to get to the voltage I need. I will be trying this this week. But I still have the concerns about the longevity of the battery in this style.

For the processig part, I am still considering using the 1.27-inch OLED breakout board, which I think is more suiting for my project. This board also has a built-in SD card holder. I want to try to use the breakoutboard function in this OLED, and use microcontroller to upload the image.
