With the laser cutter, my idea was super simple: 

Creating a fun shape with text on it. 

Since our class is on February 14th, I took the opportunity to create some gift cards with wood. 

Rastering cheeky witty wood/cutting related jokes on heartshaped plywood. 

I mean.. 

Technically it only serves on purpise, so I think it’s fair to include under my theme.
