Chopstick
Stand
(Pen, Wire-stripper, Sharpie) StandI wanted to make something I would like to have 5 of the same for this assignment. And I decided to make 5 chopstick stands which I later realized I could use for other things.
Before starting the chopstick stand, I use a scrap piece of wood to practice round edges. I started by sanding a 10 inches long square-shaped wood, cutting it in half twice, and marking all of the curves and the cutting point. I cut the curves while the wood is uncut so I would have more space to work with. I used the technique showcased in class to cut out the curves. The first few were hard to work with, that’s why the shape is not consistent. After cutting, I sanded everything again to a rounder shape.
